Shamanism has, in some way, been a part of every culture, worldwide, for thousands of years. Shamanic Ceremonies celebrate major life events bringing the community together spiritually: births, coming of age, death, etc. Shamanic healing is focused on the part of every illness which is caused by spiritual disharmony. This spiritual discord can manifest in mental, emotional, and/or physical illness.
The healing is facilitated by the Shamanic practitioner, but is always carried out by compassionate, helping spirit guides. Some examples of healing include: Power Loss, Soul Retrieval, Soul Remembering, Misplaced Energy and Curse Unraveling, Compassionate Depossession, Psycho-pomp work, Divination, Healing with the Four Elements - to restore balance, and returning the essence of a body part (emotional balance after surgery).
During your journey, the guides are asked for the best healing for you at this time. The result is often different than what you expect; what we think we need, and what we actually need may be very different. Shamanic work can be done in person, or remotely as the spirit guides do their work in "Non-Ordinary reality" also known as "Journey space".
